Cults of Cthulhu is a winner.
Having read other reviews I knew this would be good, and I was not disappointed. Another EXCELLENT sourcebook for my library. Superb artwork, over 360 pages of content on cults, cultists, history, and how to work up your own believable cult to unleash on your Investigators. Highly recommended. ❤️❤️

Outstanding
"Cults of Cthulhu" is a book that exceeded my expectations, and profoundly changed the way that I construct my scenarios for Call of Cthulhu. The scenarios contained in the book are intricate and complex to run, but are very rewarding for the Keepers who want to dive deep into roleplaying complex NPCs who have intricate relationships to other characters and have elaborate agendas. This book is very helpful for creating new scenarios, as it both provides tons of inspiration for creating adventures based on the cults described in the book, and also gives clear and practical guidelines for those who want to create a cult of their own. While I agree that the book is narrowly focused on the Cthulhu cult, I see no difficulty in using all the material and transposing it to the cult of another Great Old One or Deity. Outstanding.

Narrow in Scope
Great book, but heavily focused on cults worshipping Cthulhu; I would have preferred something a bit broader in scope, but the depth is impressive. That said, its advice and mechanics for creating interesting cults and their leaders can be applied to any deity's worshippers, especially when combined with information from Malleus Monstorum.
