Chaosium's Volunteer Game Master Program

Embrace Chaos & Camaraderie in the Cult of Chaos!

 

The Cult of Chaos is Chaosium's official Volunteer Game Master program.

We provide the content. Game Masters provide their energy, enthusiasm, and talent!! 

Cult of Chaos Game Masters will focus on meeting, recruiting, encouraging, and celebrating players who are unfamiliar with our games via use of a pre-approved list of scenarios/demo that we’ll provide free of charge.

Members run games at local game shops, events, conventions, or online to introduce new players to awesome Chaosium games including CALL OF CTHULHU, PENDRAGON, RIVERS OF LONDON, RUNEQUEST, and 7TH SEA.

Our Gamemasters should be knowledgeable with current editions of our rules, settings and games that they play, and be able to answer basic questions about Chaosium games. Applicable games must be run in English. The Cult of Chaos spreads fun and good will throughout our growing community!

The Perks

Cult of Chaos members should be, above all, motivated by the desire to have fun and introduce new gamers to the Chaosium community. Having said that, we do award store credit at Chaosium.com for running for running two-hour or four-hour public events in English. Those events can be hosted online via Virtual Tabletop platforms, your favorite local brick and mortar store, conventions, game clubs, etc. For more details join us!

The Rules

Qualifying games are pre-approved Chaosium games that are currently in print and are run in ENGLISH. If you are running one of our games in a foreign language, then it is up to our Licensees who publish our games in your language to support you. However, event credit is only issued for games run in English. We publish games in English so those are the ones we support. 

 

All Cult of Chaos GMs agree to our Code of Conduct.
