Susan O'Brien
Susan O'Brien is Chaosium's line editor for fiction.
Susan's professional background is in editing, publishing, and project management. Her projects at Chaosium include the multiple ENNIE award winning games Khan of Khans and Miskatonic University: The Restricted Collection with German board game design genius Reiner Knizia, Chris Gidlow's The Ruin of Britain novel trilogy about King Arthur, and copyediting and proofreading for the Call of Cthulhu, RuneQuest, Rivers of London, and Questworlds roleplaying lines. Susan's past career included coordinating clinical research trials across the world, working as a jillaroo on a sheep station in the Australian Outback, avoiding being kidnapped in the southern Philippines, and serving as the ghost writer for various Arabian dignitaries.
Born in Western Australia, Susan spent part of her childhood in the United States and lived for a decade in the Middle East as an adult. She returned to Australia some ten years ago where she lives in Melbourne, Victoria with her husband (Chaosium's MOB) and their two sons.
