Ian Cooper
Ian Cooper is Chaosium's line editor for Questworlds.
After starting with Traveller, and then long years of D&D a copy of Cults of Prax, originally purchased to use in his D&D game, Ian began a life-long love affair with Greg Stafford's creation of Glorantha and Chaosium's range of games. RuneQuest and following that a range of BRP games began to fill his life: Call of Cthulhu, Elfquest and the sadly missed Ringworld amongst them.
After a brief hiatus from gaming in his twenties ('the beer is good years') Ian returned to gaming in his thirties, energized by Hero Wars and the new wave of story games from the indie scene. He began writing, working with fan publishers The Unspoken Word to detail the Tarsh Exiles, graduating to Issaries to write canon material for the Sartar Rising series and working on Dragon Pass: Land of Thunder. For Moon Design Publications he contributed to Sartar Kingodom of Heroes, the Sartar Companion and HeroQuest Glorantha.
Ian's proudest achievement so far is being published by Chaosium, returning to where it all began with the company that so inspired him in his teens, with The Coming Storm and The Eleven Lights, the epic HeroQuest Glorantha campaign set in Sartar.
A native Londoner, and a tattooed, pierced, and bearded gamer, he has been playing games for over 30 years.
