Our newly-released Cthulhu by Gaslight Investigators' Guide brings the dark shadows of the 1800’s to your gaming table. While predominately set in the British isles, the Cthulhu by Gaslight era also encompasses the potential for adventures in Europe, Asia, Africa, and the United States. And Syrinscape's new Cthulhu by Gaslight sound set offers a great jumping off point for anyone in who wants to game in the Victorian era!
A time before electricity reshaped the world, here is a world of steam engines and gas lamps lighting foggy streets. In this soundset you will find representations of large urban centers and small rural towns; dangerous slums to tranquil country sides. There are also 28 scenario locations. Everything from foggy docks and raucous taverns to museums, desolate shores, seances, locations of weird science, and hidden temples of dark rites.
A handful of encounters have been included to kickstart any action hungry adventuring group. Bar brawls, gunfights, evil cultists, and even one rather large unhappy sea beast.
Also, included are many forms of transportation which thrived in the Victorian era. Horse drawn streetcars, early automobiles, Rickshaws, Trains, Massive ocean liners and more. Wherever, you wish to go, you will find a way to get there in this soundset.
