The Call of Cthulhu roleplaying game has been inducted into the ENNIE Awards Hall of Fame!

As part of celebrations of the 25th year of the ENNIE awards, last month the ENNIES Hall of Fame was established. A new inductee is to be announced on the 25th of every month leading into the 25th ENNIE Awards ceremony in August 2025.

The first inductee, announced on Sep 25th, was Dungeons & Dragons. Announced today, we were honoured to see Call of Cthulhu named as the second Hall of Fame inductee.

The ENNIE Awards said, "It is with great pride that the ENNIE Awards inducts Call of Cthulhu into the Hall of Fame. Its influence has spread far beyond the tabletop, leaving an indelible mark on role-playing games, popular culture, and the way we tell stories of fear and madness."

Call of Cthulhu ClassicFirst published in 1981 and now in its 7th edition, Call of Cthulhu is the definitive roleplaying game for horror. A global phenomenon, it has been published in some 15 languages and in its time has won more than 100 TTRPG industry awards, including 44 ENNIEs.
