2023 was a huge year for the Miskatonic Repository!

Congratulations Miskatonic Repository creators for Call of Cthulhu – 2023 was a big year!
This year alone, independent Call of Cthulhu creators have added some 247 new products to the Miskatonic Repository, and in early 2024 we are on track to reach a significant milestone: over 150,000 titles sold!
Since the program began in December 2017 there have been some 1268 community titles added to the program at DriveThruRPG, or an average of four new titles every week!
Highlights of this exceptional program for TTRPG creators include:
- frequently topping the best seller lists at DriveThruRPG;
- receiving critical praise from reviewers and customers alike;
- winning ENNIE awards (2020, 2021 and again in 2023: congratulations to Stuart Sellens for his 'Best Electronic Book' win for Host and Hostility: Three Regency Cthulhu Scenarios);
- selling out at pop-up stores at conventions Chaosium attends including UK Games Expo, Dragonmeet, PAX Australia, and of course, Chaosium Con;
- nurturing first-time Call of Cthulhu creators with the Storytelling Collective's dedicated 'Write Your First Adventure' workshop stream;
- Miskatonic Repository content is now officially supported on Roll20;
- bringing creators' work to life on the Miskatonic Playhouse, an actual play podcast that plays Miskatonic Repository content;
- promoting new releases in the Chaosium blog's regular Miskatonic Monday series, as well as promotion on BRP Central, EN World and RPGNet;
- supporting and celebrating Miskatonic Repository content and creators at Miskatonic Repository Con, the annual online convention;
- serving as a stepping stone to further work as a professional in the TTRPG industry, including most recently Miskatonic Repository creator Kat Clay, now writing for Golden Goblin Press's Cthulhu Invictus;
- and, most importantly of all, helping foster a growing and dynamic community of independent Call of Cthulhu creators, each exploring the Mythos in their own way, yet strongly supportive of each other in such groups as the Miskatonic Repository Creator's Circle.
Here's to 2024: we can't wait to see what you create!
— from all the team at Chaosium.
Under the Miskatonic Repository community content license, independent Call of Cthulhu creators can make and sell their own Call of Cthulhu content using guidelines, templates, and art we provide.
Remember you like what you see in the Miskatonic Repository, remember to give the creators a star rating or even a review!
