Alan Bligh, 1974—2017

It is with much regret that we announce that Alan Bligh, a scholar, gentleman, and friend of Chaosium, passed away yesterday after a brief battle with cancer.
Alan penned a number of scenarios for Call of Cthulhu, including the popular Dead Light, "Crimson Letters" (Call of Cthulhu Rulebook), and "The Disintegrator" (Pulp Cthulhu). In addition to many publications for Forge World (Games Workshop), Alan also wrote novels for Fantasy Flight Games’ series of Arkham Horror novelisations. In addition, Alan contributed a scenario for Chaosium’s Curse of Seven, a Gaslight campaign slated for 2018 release.
Alan’s keen wit and wisdom, erudition, and expansive knowledge of weird fiction and horror will be greatly missed. He was a true friend, too soon taken from the world.
Our sympathies and thoughts are with Alan’s family.
